Overview
Most people don’t need a verdict — they need to know where to start.
Pakistan’s legal system has separate forums for civil disputes, criminal matters, family cases, and specialised tribunals. Filing in the wrong forum wastes months. The Law & Justice division exists to prevent that: we listen to what happened, identify the correct legal forum, and explain the realistic steps and timeline before you file anything.
We do not replace a lawyer for courtroom representation — we make sure you reach the right one, with your facts organised, and you understand the process at every stage.
This division is for you if…
- You’re unsure which court handles your type of case
- You need help understanding a notice, summons, or order you received
- You want your documents reviewed before filing a case
- You need a lawyer referral through a recognised Bar Association

Quick Reference
Which court handles your case?
A starting point only — our intake team confirms the exact forum once you describe your situation.
| Matter Type | Typical Forum | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Civil Disputes | Civil Court (District Judiciary) | Property disputes, contract breaches, recovery of money |
| Criminal Matters | Sessions / Magistrate Court | FIR-related cases, bail applications, criminal complaints |

About the Council
Who we are, why we exist, and how a complaint you file actually gets resolved.
Who We Are
A civil body built around one question: where does this citizen go for help?
The Council for Law, Justice & Human Rights was formed because too many citizens with a genuine grievance did not know which office, court, or department could actually help them — and too many gave up before finding out.
We are not a court. We are the connective layer between a citizen’s complaint and the right forum to resolve it — whether that means a legal referral, an interfaith mediation, a rights consultation, or free legal aid.
Every case is logged, tracked by reference number, and followed until it reaches resolution or is formally closed with an explanation.
Our Mission
To make justice, interfaith harmony, and human-rights protection reachable for every citizen — regardless of income, faith, or where they live in Pakistan.
Our Vision
A Pakistan where no citizen is turned away from justice for not knowing where to ask — and where every community, of every faith, feels equally protected.
What Guides Us
Six principles behind every case we take
Impartiality
Every case is assessed on its facts — not the complainant’s faith, background, or connections.
Confidentiality
Your complaint details are shared only with the division handling your case — never made public without consent.
Accountability
Every case gets a reference number and a visible status — we don’t let complaints disappear into a queue.
Timeliness
We aim to make first contact on every new complaint within days, not months.
Non-Discrimination
Equal standing for every citizen regardless of religion, gender, ethnicity, or economic status.
Accessibility
No lawyer, no fee, and no complicated paperwork required to start a case.
